Of the 21 wushu events in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam, Indonesia targets three gold medals in the said sport. It is one more than the gold medals it won in the 2019 SEA Games in Manila.
To make this happen, Indonesia will depend on the sixteen (16) wushu athletes that will compete in this Southeast Asian regional meet.

Wushu competition will be held at the Cầu Giấy Sporting Hall in Hanoi, Vietnam from May 13 to May 15. Wushu will consist of thirteen (13) events in Taolu and eight (8) weight categories in Sanda.
